Garden Show Programme 2009

We will have a GALA EVENING - this is a private event by Invitation only, and we are now seeking Sponsors.
We hope to improve on the immense success of the original event; there will be wine and lots of food in these beautiful gardens and we will have the accompaniment of a Swing Band.
Tickets will be £15 each For an invitation please e mail our Office. .
We hope to have Enterment in the form of Brass Bands to play in the Tea Garden and have already invited the Fakenham Town Band to take part
Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July 2009
The Show will be open from 10am - 6pm
Entry Fee - £7 Children under 16 Free. No other concessions.
Groups of 20 or more may obtain advance Group Entry Tickets at £5 each. (See Group Page).
Main features apart from the beautiful Gardens & Waterways will be
SHOW GARDENS with the Green/ Eco theme is open to Garden Clubs, Garden Designers and Horticultural Colleges. Please go to Show Gardens Page for details and entry form
'Grub in a tub' competition - create an edible garden in a container; this is open to all Schools in surrounding Counties - please go to Grub in Tub page to see details and obtain an entry form to send to us.
SILENT AUCTION , run by Downham Market Rotary Club - we have just started the collection of items for this auction - if you have anything that you think might be suitable please make contact; we expect some excellent items available for sale, and all will be offered on the basis that they will be sold without reserve by the time the Show closes on Sunday 5th July. Possible lots include "Visit to the Gallops at Newmarket", "Breakfast at a racing Stable", a day's shooting, Sporting Tickets etc. This will be added to our LIVE WEB SITE next May. Your local MP's have already donated 'Tea in the House of Commons'
FINE ART SHOW - Open to all local Artists.

100 TRADE STANDS.
HOT & COLD FOOD will be available all day provided by our Caterers and will include
Grill - English Hog Roast - Traditional English Sausages - The Deli - French Crepes - Tea & Coffee - Pimms & Beer Bar
STRUTT & PARKER TEA GARDEN - Afternoon Teas will be provided in the Tea Garden from 2 -4.30 pm by Norfolk Federation of Womens Institute. Tea supplied by 'Yorkshire Tea', and coffee from M&S.
Disabled Access is possible in the gardens but is limited in some areas, particularly around the waterways. There is quite a long distance from the Car & Coach Parks to the Gardens and Trade Stand Area.
BBC RADIO NORFOLK we hope will be broadcasting live from the Gardens.
SUNDAY SERVICE - PRAISE IN THE GARDEN - 10.30 Sunday 5th July xxxxxx will lead this informal multi faith service in the Garden, with the Salvation Band. We hope Bishop xxxx will also be attending with other local Religious Leaders..
DOGS - allowed only on short leads.
PICNICS - Only allowed in the Car Parks Area.
