CAN YOU HELP US
On behalf of Sir Jeremy & Lady Bagge can you help with Sponsorship for a Major Charity Garden Show at there lovely home of Stradsett Hall, which will take place in July 2009, and hope that you may consider sponsoring one of our competitions or sections of our Show.
We ran two similar Charity events June 2007 at Little Bentley Hall, in Essex and at West Woodhay House in Berkshire for friends of Sir Jeremy and these both raised a total of over £200,000 for local charities, and attracted large crowds.
We plan a similar format with the gardens of Stradsett Hall open, a Chelsea Style Show Gardens Competition, a Primary Schools ‘Grub in a Tub’ Competition, a Fine Art Show, Antiques Valuations , and over 100 Quality Trade Stands. A Silent Auction will be run by Downham Market Rotary Club. There will also be a Gala Preview Evening for around 800 invited guests on Friday Night for which we are seeking a Sponsor.
We hope to attract around 15,000 visitors to this event over the weekend, and raise up to £100,000 for local charities. The Charities we are supporting are Norfolk Hospice Tapping House, East Anglian Air Ambulance, RAF Benevolent Fund, Army Benevolent Fund, Norfolk Women’s Institute Federation, Downham Market Rotary Club, local churches and other charities.
As an example of what we are seeking one high profile event is the Schools Competition entitled ‘GRUB IN A TUB’, involves all schools in Norfolk and near Countries entering a Tub of Productive vegetables and flowers. which will be judged by leading RHS Garden Designers including Lady Xa Tollemache. For the Schools Competition we are seeking sponsorship of £750-£1,000 . We will present Trophies which will bear your name/logo. We hope we may be able to persuade BBC Radio Norfolk to allow us to present the Awards live on one of their programmes.
Entry forms will also bear your name and we would offer you Trade Stand or Display space at the show, Banners, as well as an Advert in the Programme.
