CLA Butterfly Barrel Competition

[object Object]We are pleased to invite all Primary and Nursery Schools and other childrens organisations in Norfolk and surrounding counties to enter a Butterfly Barrel in this Competition at our Garden Show.

The theme is a "Butterfly Barrel" and, as you would expect, we wish to leave the imagination to the children!

There are though three requirements of the Butterfly Barrel:

  1. The Butterfly Barrel can be anything in which plants can grow successfully and have free drainage
  2. The Butterfly Barrel will attract butterflies and friendly bugs.
  3. The Butterfly Barrel must be freestanding and reasonably portable

Recycled, environmentally friendly, homemade and innovative containers will be looked upon favourably!

[object Object]There is no restriction on the plants that can be used although they may include vegetables, fruit, edible flowers or herbs.  The most potential to attract to butterflies and friendly bugs will receive the most points!

The winning entries will receive a prestigious award and the winning school or organisation will also receive a prize.[object Object]
