Praise in the Garden

[object Object]We were delighted that the Bishop of Ely, The Rt Revd Dr Anthony Russell,  attended our Praise in the Garden service at the Stradsett Hall Garden Show in 2009 and hope to have such an important visitor again in 2011.

The service will be led by Father James Mather in the beautiful Rose Gardens at Stradsett Hall on Sunday 26th June 2011 at 10:30.

We hope to make this a truly spiritual start to our Sunday in the Garden.  Those attending the service will need to pay normal entrance to the Stradsett Hall Garden Show.

The Salvation Army Anglia Youth Band will lead the music for the Praise in the Garden and the organisers are delighted that they will also play for the visitors to the Garden Show at 10:00am and again at 11:30am on Sunday 5th July.

We do hope that you will join us for this special Praise in the Garden.

[object Object]The Salvation Army’s Anglia Youth Band comprises around 30 musicians aged from 14 to 30 years of age, drawn from the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Every year the band gives a number of concerts throughout East Anglia and further afield, and toured the Czech Republic several years ago. Bandmaster Paul Winterbourne (in centre of front row on the photo)  is no stranger to keeping crowds happy, since he is also the Bandmaster of Sheringham Salvation Army band he is used to playing to the summer crowds on the sea front there.
